Manufacturing Issues

We bought this washer one month ago and realized the softener dispenser was not working. LG responded to our concerns by checking the unit over the phone with the help of a representative. A technician followed up with a visit a few days later and fixed the issue in less than 30 minutes. The technician showed us a couple of wrong internal connections that caused the malfunction. Understandably we were very frustrated as we had to put our time into solving a problem with a brand-new product that shouldve gone through rigorous quality controls. LG needs to pay attention to this. In the end the warranty coverage worked. I will think twice in the future to buy an LG appliance.

Made the right choice

Purchased this a month ago from Home Depot. The first one they delivered had a knocking noise when spinning. Home Depot sent me another one. The second one is quiet and smooth there is no doubt this is the best wash machine I have ever owned. It is very efficient with electricity and water usage. Most loads I do finish within one half hour on normal cycle and come out very dry and clean clean. Controls are great with a lot of information displayed. This is a great washing machine which I fully recommend.

Great washer with great features

Our old LG washer started to have problems with load sensing so we opted to get a new washer rather than repairing the old one. We bought the turbo 360 and thoroughly love it. It washes faster than the old one but what we love the best is the spin cycle. The old unit would sometimes have trouble getting the load right to spin but this new one has no issue. It starts slowly and just progressively increases speed so there is no shaking or jumping around especially with bulky loads like towels or bedding. Especially like the door jets that circulate the wash and rinse water into the center of the load to make the tumbling more efficient.

Rusts after only 2 years

We purchased this Washer 2 years ago and noticed rust starting to form around the detergent drawer. When we called LG they are refusing to honor the warranty saying that we caused the rust by using bleach. WHY would using bleach in a washing machine be a problem?? This will certainly be our last LG Washer. We are deeply disappointed by the run-around and poor commitment to honoring their warranty.

Had these machines less than a month. Washer has been leaking from day 1. Was told by first LG rep this model has a design flaw Was told we cant use more than 2 tbsp of he detergent otherwise it leaks Service person is due today. Was told I could be charged if they dont find anything wrong Never again LG. If service cant find and fix this leak today you can have these machines back. I will contact Lowes and have the drag this washer out along with dryer.

The spin cycle is very efficient and helps to speed up drying time. Havent explored all its feature yet but the basic ones cover the majority of my needs.

WIFI problems otherwise Great washer

I really like the washer and its functions. A little to many choices. It washes the items great. My only problem is the WIFI does not always initiate. The WIFI light doesnt illuminate and then I dont get the notifications. I can go into the app and see the remaining time etc. One reason i picked and paid more was to have the WIFI function so i could use these features. I have contacted CS multiple times and they say its an issue they are working on.

Clean laundry

This machine takes less time to clean clothes than my previous washer. A good number of choices are offered for temp. soil level and load size. Unsure of how to use delay wash so I guess I will have to look online.

Works well but could use some design improvement

New LG washer user 8/11/2023

We bought this last month. Except for a marginally useful manual and some poor functional design decisions it is working fine. The manual including the longer online version is not well written. For instance the description of the available wash cycles is not particularly informative. For each wash cycle it just gives a table that lists the detail settings which you can already see on the front panel. It doesnt tell you how it does the actual cycle like agitation characteristics etc.. Also the online manual mentions cycle selections which dont seem to be available on the front panel like Waterproof Bulky/Large and Jumbo. We wanted to wash some waterproof items but didnt know how to do that since Waterproof is not an available cycle selection and the manual fails to list what the characteristics of a Waterproof cycle are. I checked the available Downloadable cycles using the app but Waterproof is not one of the available options. Also the ability to download only a single cycle seems like an unreasonable restrictive design decision on the part of LG.

Disappointing purchase.

This washer needs to be drained weekly after 6 - 8 small - medium loads or it will leak. It requires emptying a gallon of water per week and if you dont empty it it will leak water onto the floor. We were unaware of this and dealt with leakage several times before we finally realized what was going on. It got worse and worse. By then of course the warranty ran out. The need to drain continues to worsen and we have to lug sometimes a gallon of water over new laminate floors up a flight of stairs and over oak floors every week to empty the bucket. Guidance from LG was nonexistent and Asurion the extended warranty company will not cover a service call/repair.

I purchased this washer a month ago. This is my second LG Front Loading Washing Machine and I am really happy with it. In my family of 6 I can finish all my laundry within one day and the the alert sent to my phone when the cycle is complete is so helpful. I love the energy efficient settings and how clean my clothes are when the cycle is finished.

This is not my first front loader. I had to replace my 27 year old machine and while checking reviews LG had the best ratings. My LG is comparable to my last machine with all the wash cycles I wanted and easy adjustment to customize my particular wash needs. My clothes come out clean and less wet which makes drying a shorter time.

Would not advice to buy

I bough both the washer and dryer about 3 months ago. I did not use it untill a month after purchase. The first time I used it it was very loud and vibrated which was odd because the reviews and description states it is quiet. I contacted LG because I could not no longer return it for refund and best buy which is where I bought said I could contact LG given the warranty. Cut long story short LG sent me messages with instructions on how to fix the problem I contacted them after trying without success and no response. So now I have 2 new appliances which I bought for over 2000$ which I regret purchasing. My advice is make sure it is working properly before the return period is over and hope it does not break down after the return period.

Best Washer Ever

Since 2021 I went through 3 front load washers within 9 months This 3rd washer was the charm It is my first LG appliance. The machine does a great job cleaning clothesetc....without any loud noises and did not fall apart within 4 months.. Washer is now over a year old and still working. Thats what well designed appliances should do......work every time. Thank you LG

Leaking Washer

Purchased the machine about two years ago. Had no problems until about 2 months ago when the machine dispensed all the water on my hard wood floors during a drain cycle. I have not been able to find the purchase receipt so I have been taking my clothes to the laundrymat until I am able to afford to get it fixed. I ran the Tub Clean Cycle but the leak did not occur during that process. Do you have a record of when I purchased this machine? What are your recommendations?

Too sensitive and restrictive

Had this machine for over a month now and still cant figure out what its doing. It just does its own thing completely AI and I dont care for it. I thought it would be a good fit for my family with the reviews I read but its way too sensitive. I should have went with a simpler machine. I miss my old LG it had a water plus feature that I used regularly and it made a huge difference in how clean my clothes came out. I have washed the same clothes and have used the same detergents in this new machine as my old one and my clothes dont come out nearly as clean as they used to. Another issue is you only have a small window of time to pause it and add items otherwise you are locked out. Better make sure all the clothes pockets are empty and you dont have anything of importance in said clothes by accident because you will not be able to retrieve it once its locked. There are a number of things about this machine that I dont like but basically I feel I have no operating authority over this machine and now I have to try and make the best of it.
